We get a lot of spammers trying to post on UKBF. Most of them are caught by our automated systems and our moderation team but, to limit those who do make it through, we also limit linking privileges to accounts that have first made 30 other posts in threads. This makes it easier to spot post building (submitting junk to get up to 30 posts) and keep potentially harmful links off the site. Once you hit 30 posts, you’ll be good to go.
