Just upgraded? Make sure you get yourself set up to get the most out of your membership! Here's a few places to start!
Only Full members can post offers in the Marketplace section while all members can view the postings. No one can post other comments on any thread.
The Marketplace is in a very visible area of the forum and offers a great place to generate interest from your latest offers.
The signature area appears under every post you make and is a great opportunity to promote your business. Being a full member, you can do what you wish with this area and add links to your homepage, particular products, social accounts or even competitions that you are running.
The more you engage in the forum, the more your signature will be displayed! We ask that you don't self-promote in your own posts, because your signature area is the place for that!
Review My Site! (Full member Forum)
Get some honest feedback on your website, a new feature, or a new design you are working on. The review area is not visible to the public and is not visible in Google search results. This means that you can get some constructive feedback without worrying about your customers or clients seeing your long slog for website perfection!
As a full member, you become part of this community, so although you may not have a knowledge of SEO, or web design, please do visit this area to see if you can offer an opinion when someone needs a bit of help. Sometimes the most simple feedback about how you used a site can be some of the most valuable.
The Business Directory
All Full members are allowed a listing in the UKBF Business Directory – the listing can be included under 2 different categories. If you are just starting out and don't have a website, you can add a link to your directory listing in your signature to point people in the direction of your contact details.
(Please note, directory listings are pre-moderated so may take a short time to appear)
The Blogging Area
All Full members have a UKBF Business Blog ready and waiting to be filled with your daily business thoughts. To start yours, click here and choose 'Post to my blog' from the Options menu. A selection of blogs will be tweeted from the UK Business Forums Twitter account (@ukbizforums)
